Steven L. Morris is Of Counsel with the law firm of Grant Morris Dodds. Steve is a fourth generation Nevadan and has practiced law in all courts in Nevada since 2000. As a skilled litigation and transactional attorney with extensive experience in state and federal courts and administrative bodies, Mr. Morris is uniquely qualified to represent individuals and business in Trust and Estate litigation.
Steve has been named as one of Nevada’s “Legal Elite” by the Nevada Business Magazine, recognizing him as one of the top 100 attorneys in Southern Nevada. He has also been selected as a “Rising Star” by Mountain States Super Lawyers.
Mr. Morris has successfully prosecuted and tried cases in arbitration, state court, the Nevada Supreme Court, federal court, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals; one of the most notable of which being a six week arbitration which resulted in a multimillion dollar verdict against the State of Nevada for the construction of the Veterans Nursing Home in Boulder City, NV.
Steve graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Arts, and from Gonzaga University School of Law with a Juris Doctor.
He is licensed to practice law in Nevada and speaks fluently in Spanish.
